Norovirus-related gastrointestinal (GI) illness
There is widespread norovirus-related gastrointestinal (GI) infection in the community. Norovirus is very contagious.
Staff experiencing new or acute GI symptoms such as nausea or vomiting, abdominal pain or cramps, or diarrhea should follow their department's standard call-out procedure and notify their manager immediately.
Please report GI norovirus-like symptoms to Occupational Health and Infection Control through our
Norovirus Reporting Form
. Your manager will be notified that you must be excluded from the work site due to a potentially contagious gastrointestinal illness.
