 Norovirus-related gastrointestinal (GI) illness

There is widespread norovirus-related gastrointestinal (GI) infection in the community. Norovirus is very contagious.
  • Staff experiencing new or acute GI symptoms such as nausea or vomiting, abdominal pain or cramps, or diarrhea should follow their department's standard call-out procedure and notify their manager immediately.
  • Please report GI norovirus-like symptoms to Occupational Health and Infection Control through our Norovirus Reporting Form . Your manager will be notified that you must be excluded from the work site due to a potentially contagious gastrointestinal illness.
